Gentlemen, Beta Pi Blog welcomes Rod Yanker rodney@aamglobal.com

E-mail received from Rod Yanker, August 31, 2006:

"Fellow Tics,

See note below from Vinnie Starr and Larry Simons where Larry has created a blog for ATO Beta Pi.  I quickly picked off some email addresses and no doubt some of the addresses are wrong.  If you care to be included on the blog, follow Vinnie’s protocol with a copy to Larry.  Some of you did took great pictures from the 2001 get together, but I don’thave copies any more.

I feel really hip since this is my first blog experience.  Enjoy the weekend scumbags….

Best regards, Rodney

E-mail received from Mark McGann, August 31, 2006:

"Good, now maybe you can get someone to explain to the masses where that whole "heme" thing came from, the why and the where for, because I for one would like to know.  All I know is that periodically a bunch of guys repeating the word "heme" would, with seemingly minor provocation, decide to gang squash some hapless individual almost as if it had been prearranged.  Maybe Buck would like to wax loquacious on this one?
VTL, Marlon."

E-mail received from The Heme, September 1, 2006:

"L.

YOu need more to do.....  Thanks for the contact.  All is well here in Chicago.  Stay in touch with Aber, The Greek, and that's about it.  Got 3 kids (2 girls, 16 and 14, and a 12 boy....thank God)  Anyway, sounds like nobody has changed enough to recognize, so carry on.  See ya at Shipwreck........fellow tic.

I recall being towards the bottom of some of those piles of people in a HEME crush.  It was very very hard to breathe!

I just had a call from The Heme!  Heme is living in Chicago, and relates news about Corey Clark, a.k.a. "Stubbs."  Heme attended Stubbie's wedding about 4 years ago.  Stubbie married a gal gfrom Roanoke, Virginia!  Heme is going to search in his annals for Stubbie's phone number, and hopefully e-mail, so we can link him up.  Heme has committed to attending VU Reunion Homecoming in '08!  And he is pumped to rally the Tik-lor VU Graduates of Class of 1973 - '08 will be their 35th Reunion.  I enjoyed talking with you, Heme, and I'm looking forward to seeing you!
