 ATO ACTIVES HOST RECEPTION:

I must be getting older, but the famous words of Lewis Carrol creep into my mind, “curiouser and curiouser…”  The Active ATO’s honored us with a Reception . . . at the un-godly hour of 11:30 a.m.

 Present were

Van Sayler, Jeff Glanz (a great friend of mine and Buck’s from Freshman Dorm),

Steve Cummings, and

Scott Sheppard.  I told Scott that “packing heat” was not allowed on Campus, or the ATO House, but when did you ever know Scott to listen?

This is how great a guy Buck is – he was planning to come in Thursday night, but his boss scheduled him to a meeting he could not refuse in New York Friday morning – so rather than blow off the weekend, Buck flew in Saturday afternoon!  The Show must go on! First thing Buck wanted to do was play guitars . . .

As we were leaving Campus, the Vanderbilt Police arrested Buck – something about an outstanding warrant from 1973 . . . so we had to bond him out.  FREE AT LAST!

NEW MEAT

In attendance were GENE KAMARASY, ATO Class of __, and a few Actives who had the balls to attend the ATO Dinner, AUSTIN BROWN, ATO Class of 2015 and Jake Kearns, ATO Class of 2015.  Welcome to Beta Pi Blog!

FROM STEVE CUMMINGS:
"Larry-

Great job on the Reunion update!

I felt cheated that we were not at the dinner after the game. Looks like it was good fun. I ended up getting what Jill had, although not as bad.

Best update I got was that Marlon is back in Austin! Hopefully copying him here will shame him into contacting me. J

Keep up the good work!

Best,
Steve"

TO STEVE: As Buck said, it was one for the anals, it was awesome to see you. ILAMATOB! Be well!

NEWS FLASH: COMMODORES INVITED TO MUSIC CITY BOWL!
I'm sure you've already heard this. Buck Biller has confirmed that he will be attending. Jack Muench is a maybe.

There are a few locals who live in and around Nashville, John Stien and David Haynes, and in Lebanon - Steve Quattrochie, and the perennial J.D. Strickland who goes to all Vandy games.

Anyone else who is interested, you need to go the Vandy website and obtain your tickets. On Game Day we'll all meet up for the Vanderbilt Tail Gate Party pre-game.

We'll also do something for New Year's Eve, but that is in the planning stages.

Ann and I and Buck would love to see you. (Boss Stien would too, but the Boss usually has to go to the VIP party, which ordinary riff-raff such as me and Buck get excluded from, so you may want to lobby Boss-Man if big-wig-VIP is your thing (kidding).)

VTL,
Larry Simons
